Here are some tips to make the avocados soft and creamy in just a few minutes. What you need is a baking sheet, tinfoil, and that hard avocado. Now what you have to do is wrap the whole fruit in the tinfoil and set it on the baking sheet. Pop it in the oven at 200oF for ten minutes, or until the avocado is soft.
Now remove it from the oven, and then put your soft, ripe avocado into the fridge until it cools. Avocados produce ethylene gas, which is typically released slowly, causing the fruit to ripen. But as the avocado bakes in tinfoil, the gas surrounds it, putting the ripening process into hyper drive.
Now place the avocado in an airtight container with about a quarter cup of freshly chopped red onions. The sulphur compounds in the onion will oxidize on the green surface. Then pop it in the fridge.
